Virtual Class Offerings
Executive Functioning ($150/hr)
Let’s face it: the educational system simply doesn’t effectively emphasize teaching Executive Functioning (EF) skills anymore. We at Om Education are aware of how important EF skills are in an academic setting, but also to build strong habits for your student’s future professional life. That’s why we offer dedicated EF classes, designed for students who may not need a lot of subject-specific tutoring, but who desire to have a more well-balanced set of skills that they can bring into the working world.
While we offer separate EF classes, EF skills can also be applied within subject-specific tutoring classes. If you’d like your child to develop stronger EF skills, simply let us know and we can seamlessly weave these skills into whichever subject lessons you already have with us!
Homeschool Lessons (contact for pricing)
Homeschooling is where we excel!! According to the Washington Post, homeschooling is currently the “fastest-growing form of education”. Do you see the many benefits of homeschooling but would prefer the assistance of a professional? Let Om Education help!
We currently offer full-day and partial-day homeschooling options for Grades K-12. Options are available for individual or small-group plans (up to 4 students per class). We offer the opportunity for your children to be taught by knowledgeable, motivated, attentive teachers, so you can focus on your other tasks while knowing your students are getting a top-tier education!
Homework Help ($150/hr)
Available for all ages and grade levels. Tutors work one-on-one with the student to provide extra support with school-assigned homework, including providing extra content to reinforce concepts when necessary.
Homework help classes may follow a schedule or be “as needed”. We will try our best to accommodate requests made within 24 hours, but advanced scheduling is appreciated for “as-needed” classes.
Mindfulness (contact for pricing)
Mindfulness is at the core of Om Education’s mission. We are a driving force to bring balance back to education. Learning is about more than academics. We take a holistic approach, creating an environment where your child will learn as much about themselves as they will any subject.
Like our executive functioning offerings, mindfulness classes can be discrete offerings or woven into other class structures. All classes begin with the “Check In”, but after that, the structure can be designed to each student’s specific goals.
Standardized Test Prep ($150/hr)
These classes may be individual or in groups of up to four students. These can be comprehensive classes to prepare students from start to finish for a particular exam or can be more focused on particular areas of struggle. Discounted packages are available for packages of 40+ hours.
During test prep, students will learn and master all content areas of each exam, as well as all exam details and test-taking strategies. Let us have you feeling confident on exam day!
Supplemental Classes ($150/hr)
Available for all ages and grade levels. Classes can range from a few extra sessions to prepare for a difficult upcoming exam to subject-specific introductory classes to semester- or year-long classes.
